I have acquired Nystatin but it is in tablet form. I don't want to waste it, and want to know if it is possible to experience good results with the tablet form. ANy suggestions? I would appreciate the advice.
I'm a 40-yr-old male, am new to this, have CRS and am practicing SR as well as a good diet.
Thank you.

Sure, the tablets are effective, if produced by a reliable pharmaceutical company. Make certain that you follow a restricted carbohydrate diet; studies have shown diet is very important to effectiveness against symptoms when taking nystatin.

Should I crush the tablets?

Okay, I just found the archives on this. Are Nilstat tabs sugar coated? IF they are, then it wouldn't help to crush them, would it?

Thanks, Trace.
The 2 problems with the tablets are:
1. They are sugar coated &
2. They do not start working until they get to the stomach while the C-RS problem starts in the mouth and esophagus.
I have yet to see anyone who has resolved C-RS with tablets.
They can, however, be effective against colonic candidiasis. Of course that is the only kind of GI candida conventional medicine recognizes so, of course, it would show up as effective on conventional tests. This has little to do with what we are talking about here.
Crushing the tablets, and sloshing them around in the mouth before swallowing them, can do something about the second problem but nothing about the first.
Hope this helps.
Walt

That makes so much sense. Thanks you very much. I'll tell that to my doctor.
