Although we all take good fish oils, i have a feeling two of my children (boys) need omega 6, i understand a small percentage of children usually boys do. Is there any way to tell if omega 6 is needed instead of (or maybe as well as) omega 3?

Hi, Melissa.
Some tests are becoming available but they are expensive and only a few labs in the country can do them accurately (GSDL for example). My approach at present would be to not change anything else and give a good dose for a few months and see if beneficial changes take place: The individual bodymind laboratory approach.
Let us know what you learn.
