I keep my cholesterol in check with Chitosan and would like to also lower my triglycerides. Someone mentioned fish oil and another told me cinnamon. Can someone give me some facts?
TIA.........Airgunman

Not easy to do (-: >>>> give up all forms of sugar. If you can get thru the first month, you won't even miss it. You'll have to be a label reader tho... it seems like everything that is in a package has some form of sugar in it. ( corn syrup, fructose etc ). Good luck. JC

Eat lots of fish, olive oil, fruits and veggies and drink fresh veggie juices, give up processed food and sugar and you should start noticing the difference after few months.

My husband Lowered his triglycerides after he gave up sweets his triglycerides was 278 and after a few short months it came down to 130, also he started walking almost every day.
I don't believe we can burn the sugar which turns into fat in our blood as we don't exercise like we should.

Hi, Airgunman.
Eat far less refined carbohydrates, use omaga 3s and exercise more.
Let us know how you do.

I know it's not for everyone, but I'm a vegetarian, no red meat, no fish, no poultry. I do use skim milk and egg whites and a couple of times a year I use butter. My triglycerides are 41. This week my cardioligist told me my trigylcerides are lower then hers are - 55. I will be 78 next month, and for about 62 years I ate meat every day, sometimes three times a day. Good luck.
