"Milk Bumps" ??????

When my daughter was born, she had little white bumps on her face and a few on her arms. The pediatrician called them "milk bumps", stating that many babies have them and they would go away. Not to worry.
My daughter is now almost 12 yrs old and at the pre-puberty state. She still has the little white bumps--face (cheeks), back of upper arms, and on the top of each thigh. Of course, much worse now. You can scratch them off. Some you can pop--white stuff. Not acne. No real side effect other than annoyance and self body image disturbance. Seems to clear some in the summer when she is in the sun. Any suggestions?
Any product we can use? We haved used numerous facial soaps and scrubs to no avail.

The medical term for the infant condition is "milia". See any pediatric text for that term.

These nearly all disappear within the first few months of age. I have never heard, until now, of this condition lasting like this.

Once you read in the text of the known mechanisms that result in "milia" I think you can see what my recommendations would be now: first try the essential fatty acids on the homepage.

Let us know what happens in about 3 months.

Just a note - I am 39 yrs old and have had these on my face for several years. I have always been curious about why.
My dermatologist did not have much to say.
