sebacious cysts/efa's

Dear Dr.
You recommended that I take up to 5000 mg a day of omega 3's, then taper off for my cysts. I have tested positive to allergies to fish mix and flax. My diet is rich in fats (westonprice), do the allergies prevent absorption? Can't find black currant, primrose liquids. What do you suggest.
p.s. posted mess. yesterday and it did not appear.
thanks rob

Hi, Rob.

If I were you, I would use the elimination/provocation test for allergies for the fish and flax. Be sure all have been eliminated for at least a week and then take one. If no reaction, within 3 days, try the other. IF you have a reaction you have to wait a week to test the other. Your bodymind is a far more sensitive and, for the individual, more accurate than any test could possibly be. Besides, it is free.

IF you find that they DO make a difference in how you feel, THEN, go to Udo Erasmus' book "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill" and see if there is a way around this. Let us know what you learn.

Namaste`

Walt
