My husband has severe deep cracks on his feet. Very painful. he has been soaking them in a foot bath, applying bandages, using alchol to clean trying polyspoirn....all to no avail. The cracking is on his toes now as well as bottom of foot. Also appears to be some on his finger tips. Have not been able to find any relief for him. He was told to put his shoes & socks on in the am & keep them on till bed time. What could cause this problem & any suggestions for relief

Wonder if it could be a type of athelete's foot ?? I
would try soaking in cayenne pepper and salt water.

Hi, Marilyn.
The soaking is making this problem worse!
This has been discussed several times on this BB. The solution is to:
1. Stop soaking
2. Get anhydrous lanolin from your pharmacist. A 2 ounce container should cost less than $5 & will last him for a very long time used as directed (Use twice a day and rub in well very sparingly.) More effective right after bathing and you cannot use too much--other than more than he can work into his skin is wasted. You will soon see how much is enough (very little).
3. Have him start taking the essential oils in the article on the homepage.
As he improves, please share his experiences with the BB as his experience will help others with this same problem.
This is a TOTALLY unnecessary condition!
