When looking for comments about essential oils I was disappointed to discover only comments about essential fatty acids which are contained in various oils. Essential oils is a term used for a very different category of useful fluids from plants. In this case, Essential Oils are defined as subtle, volatile liquids distilled from various parts of shrubs, flowers, herbs, and trees. They are not oily to the touch as are oils containing essential fatty acids and they offer very different benefits from essential fatty acids. I will be happy to provide more information for those who are interested. J

Thanks, J.

You are right. I have been trying to get my son, Bill, to change the nomenclature so that essential fatty acids are called what they are and the essential oils be only mentioned under aromatherapy, etc.

He has been very busy and has not gotten to it for more than 6 months. Just consider that the "REAL" essential oils are used for aromatherapy and massage and the essential fatty acids are used internally for metabolism.
