I think I am going to switch from taking Flax seed oil to taking Fish and Evening Primrose oil. How many tablespoons of each will give me the required amount? It is hard converting milligrams to how many tablespoons of oil to take. I figured by switching to Fish & Primrose oil, it will ensure that I get O3 and O6.

I switched as well, but am still trying to clarify the dosage recomendation, since the Dr. recommends 5000mg of the O3's daily based on 150lb body weight. This would generally translate to 3tbsp fish oil, but for some reason the makers all suggest 1tbsp daily. Maybe they consider this to be "low-end" maintenance. As for the E.P., I'm not sure but I personally think you're moving in the right direction.

I recommend the higher doses ONLY to find out what this approach will do. Once one finds out, the idea is to cut the dose in half until one finds the maintenance dose for THEM.
One can, of course, start low and build up but THEN it could take years to find out if it will help YOU.
