Hi Dr. Stoll
I was diagnosed with Osgood at a young age, i don't know if i have it still. what i go through is an immense amount of pain when i hit my knees (ex. if i fall). And alot of times my knees hurt, and or even a burning feeling in them. And at times it's hurts to stand or walk. Would that be related to have had Osgood, or as in having it still? I did not have many problems with Osgood after i was dianosed with it. And is there a knee brace you could recommend that would possibly help? thank you for your time. and i hope this will be very helpful for me.

Sorry, Sonja.
This is a sign of a mismanaged case of Osgood Schlatter's--either from poor advice or from the individual not following good advice. You are now too old to do anything but surgery about it and that will leave a nasty scar. See a good orthopedic surgeon to learn exactly what this will entail.
Let us know how you do.
Walt
