Parasites and Leaky Gut

I saw the statement that parasites only exist if one
has Leaky Gut Disorder. I have no idea what the stats
are but this is one person who has had a number of
parasites and DO NOT nor have I ever had Leaky Gut
Disorder. I live outside the US however, my first
experience w/parasite...i.e., Giardia was contracted in
Texas.......bad water. I knew immediately I had received
bad water but nothing prepared me for the onslaught
of having Giardia. 2 gastros, 2 family docs couldn't
find anything amiss. Colonoscopy, etc, blood tests,
but not a one asked for a simple stool sample. I
carried that disgusting situation w/me for 3 years
before a doc in Mexico zeroed in on the problem
immediately. BINGO. Us docs do not want to admit
they must check for parasites before diagnosing other
very uncomfortable misdiagnosed conditions. I
say....KNOW YOU OWN BODY.....READ, STUDY....DO NOT
DEPEND ON DOCTORS TO KNOW EVERYTHING. THEY
ARE HUMAN.......THEY MAKE MANY MISTAKES. Take
responsibility for your own health.

Thanks, slainh.

You MAY be an "outlier that proves the rule". HOWEVER,remember that the healthy human being has only 1 cell out of 10 that is human. All the rest are bacteria, fungi, spitochetes, etc., that make up the human "colony" we call a human. These 90% of our cells are the only reason we can survive the continuous onslaught of the millions of pathogenic organisms that make up the soup of organisms we swim in every second of our whole lives. Even the 10% of our "colony" that are "human" are not totally human. The mitochondria within our cells, without which we could not survive more than a very few minutes, are not human but are little organelles that have their own distinct genetics and inheritance.

Loss of any portion of the 500+ species of beneficial organisms that live in our colon, and protect us from the pathogenic organisms just waiting for the opportunity to set up shop in our colon, paves the way for parasites like you finally got. IF your colonic balance had been intact, you could not have gotten the parasites.

This is the begining of LGS whether or not you know it yet. I hope you live another 50 years by when this will be known and practiced by all allopaths. It already IS practiced by all of the other healing philosophies in the world.

Hope this helps.

Walt

I recall my professor in a class on pathogens saying "Humans are a walking sack of other creatures" we forget that there are worlds around us that are complex beyond belief - I was amazed to learn much of our stool are some of these dead creatures

Hi Walt,

I heard last week that they have found a purpose for the Appendix..
It is said to be a reserve location for the good bacteria that is needed to recolonize the gut.

(Next some creative businessman will be selling them on the black market for organs, or a supplement will
pop up in the healthfood stores.)

Thanks, Ron.

It is about time that more people have begun to appreciate at least some of the functions of the appendix. It has been more than 30 years, now, since even the allopathic community began to appreciate the function of the appendix as the "gatekeeper" of the iliocecal junction.
