Hello Dr.!!!
I enjoy your website and want to thank-you for your time and efforts.
Doctor, I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). I have read your advice on how to cure acne - relax take it easy etc., however, in the case of PCOS, would you still recommend that relaxtion (stress management) is the only tool for eliminating acne?
I look forward to hearing your response!!!!!
Also, the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Association is having an International Convention featuring several Doctors that specialize in PCOS treatment and research in Chicago on June 4 - 6. Information on the meeting can be found, I believe at www.PCOS.com or www.pcosupport.org. Also, you can call 1-212-629-1824. We'd love to have you visit the conference!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, Lisa.
Thanks for the invitation. However, since the AMA took away my right to practice--for being too far ahead of my time--I have had no income to do things like this. I have been living on my wife's RN income for the past 5 years.
Are you aware of how often PCOS people have chronic & recurring acne far past puberty? Have you ever wondered why?
One of the main things I have missed is the ability to attend conferences. Of course, that is one of the main aims of the AMA--to keep people like me out of the mainstream. I should be presenting and then I could afford to come.
I still recall when I was just practicing conventional medicine & assisting at surgery for PCOS. As you may know, back in the '50s, we would cut the tough capsule of the ovary & turn the ovary inside out. This worked pretty well. THEN, it was found that only incising the capsule did as well. So, we did that for a while. THEN, we learned that all we has to do was prick the capsule with a needle & that worked just as well.
Since I have learned about a holistic way of looking at the problem, I have yet to find ONE case of PCOS that did not also have candida-related syndrome AND whose PCOS did not clear up as soon as the LGS & C-RS associated was dealt with.
Of course, you know that the ovarian function is regulated via the hypothalamic influence on the pituitary (among other things).
Perhaps it is only the re-regulation of the hypothalamus via SR (always needed to successfully deal with the C-RS) that was the solution all the time.
As you know, it is this re-regualtion of hypothalamic hormones via SR that is the main thing that finally resolves chronic recurring acne as well.
EVENTUALLY, we are going to see how this all fits together---or is it obvious already?
I wonder how many of the presenters at the conference will be looking at the forest instead of just the trees?
Walt

What are LGS and CR-S? and how is PCOS linked to candida?
