I've been battling this problem on and off for years and never knew what it was. Every couple of years the skin around the corners of my mouth turn dark brown. It looks like I'm dribbling chocolate (very embarrassing! It usually flares up in cooler months -- like now. It just flared up again yesterday.
A few years ago a doctor prescribed the anti-fungal cream Lamisil (which was only available by prescription back then). That seemed to work. I'm using it again now but the problem seems to be getting worse. Plus, the label says that the product should not be used near the mouth.
Any advice
