Dear Missy & Julio,
There is a wealth of information about this on this BB over the past few months. Some of it has been transferred to the archives. Once you have read what is already there, if you still have questions, write again.

As a preventative, I eat 3 poison ivy leaves every day. Now poison ivy has no ill effect on me. I'm not advocating it for everybody but it works 4 me.

Dear Natalie,
This subject has been discussed exhaustively, right here on this BB within the past few months. Everything has been archived up to the past month or so.
Once you have looked at that, if you still have questions, write again. For now, were it me, I would go to the pharmacy & get a huge tube of "Cordizone 10", Rub it in well over any area itching about 3-4 times a day. it requires no prescription & would not hurt you to use it exclusively this time. By knowing what to do (from the suggested reading) there won't BE a next time.
