I am currently taking the Metagenics multigenics formula. I see from the net that Metagenics also do a formula for pregnant women. I have made some comparisons and see that the pregnancy formula contains MORE zinc, copper, iron, vitamin D and potassium but contains LESS vitamin A and other less known vitamins and minerals. Dr Stoll, do you have an opnion on which might be best to take during pregnancy? I personally prefer to stay on the multi since it contains a broader spectrum of vitamins and minerals, but I was wondering if it may contain too much vitamin A?
I know you are very familiar with Metagenics - what would be your recommendation?

Hi, Lucinda.
If it were me, I would stay on the regular. The wider micronutrient variety formula is much more likely to help the kid than the expanded dose and limited variety of the pregnant formula.
Let us know how you do.
