I found out I was pregnant just last Friday. (i'm almost 6 weeks) I've had 3 previous early miscarriages in 4 years so am very concerned. A day after my +pos preg test I came down with a bad flu, then 24 hrs later I noticed the shingles. I always get them in a small patch (less than 1 inch across) near the base of my spine when I'm sick or run down.
Does shingles pose any threat to my baby. We've been trying for so long. I have polycystic ovaries and this cycle was the last chance of natural conception before opting for IVF.

Hi, La-Wren.
Too bad you did not know about Dr Paavo Airola's classic "Every Woman's Book" 2 years before the conception for this pregnancy (or all the rest for that matter). It is not too late for at least some benefit for this pregnancy but would be a GREAT help for any future ones.
It is available through the Amazon.com link in this 'site.
