Does anyone know if you can drink the high fiber drinks, to help prevent hemhorroids, while your pregnant? I've had hemhorriods since I had my first child 2 years ago and I'm going to be having my 2nd in less than a month but I don't want to make it worse and it would be nice to make the hemorroids better before i go into labor if that is possible.. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, Dawn.
Just the hydrostatic pressure of the enlarging uterus and the increased circulation neded for the pregnancy increases the risk of hemorrhoids. All you can do is keep your stool as soft and lubricated as possible so as to reduce the stress on the area during bowel movements.
Of course the fiber and MO are perfectly safe since neither of them are absorbed. 100% of whatever you take in ends up in the stool.
