Is primal defense safe to take while pregnant? I am not pregnant yet but working on it. Thanks! Mary

I can't see a problem with it. afterall, it's just food. However, I have no idea how supplements, even food supplements will affect a fetus. My advice is to get your nutritional status high and fix the minor problems that you have now as best as you can, and THEN get pregnant. Research shows that your child will be healthier as a result

Hi....

I had the same question. I emailed the company, and they strongly advised against it. They said that it causes massive amts of toxins to be released in the body that could cross over the placenta and to the baby. Not sure if they were just covering their butts, but thought I would pass along the info.

Yes, Jennifer.

This is an example of CYA. This is disinformation encouraged by the AMA lobby to promote their monopoly. They are petrified by anything that can be used without a prescription-->no money for the doc.

SO, they are saying that keeping all these "toxins" inside the body during pregnancy are going to do less harm to the fetus than releasing them to be excreted??? What BS!

Hope this helps.

Walt

I agree. I asked Jordan (president of Gardenoflife) on a personal level. He told me it would be fine to take. He said that all companies that market supplements are required to say this. Fortunately, he is very honest so he was willing to tell me the truth.
