Ive started using a topical spray of zinc pyrithione on my psorisis (calves, knees, and back of arms) The results are impressive for only 1 weeks use.
Has anyone else tried this?
Is there a dermatoligist/or perscription product with
the same compound?
I ordered this particular product from a radio advertisement, and it was expensive. Ive since located
the same product under a different name(on line) for considerably less.
Im also considering adding the LGS diet to my lifestyle and
tackle this from the inside as well.
great forum, thanks*

Psoriasis is a symptoms of an essential fatty acid deficiency. My husband used to have horrible psoriasis all over his body. I started him on flax oil and fish oil capsules; he has been psoriasis free for nearly 3 years.
He used to use creams and topical ointments prescribed by a dermatologist. They worked but the psoriasis only popped out somewhere else. It is always better to treat the cause not the symptoms.

Susan, about 5 months ago I too ordered zinc pyrithione from radio ad and like you found it online much cheaper. The results have been impessive. I have not used any steriodal topicals now since. My main place of breakouts was on my face and scalp. Have you tried the shampoo? It works great. No more flakes!! Here is a idea(if you get it in your scalp), try mixing the prescription Donovex liquid with the shampoo, about 1/2 a bottle. This is a fairly safe medication and when diluted with the shampoo is the most effective treatment I have ever used. Write me back and let me know if you try this. Dave

Is it Skin Cap you found or is there another brand cheaper? Sounds like it is a good formula.
Thanks
