Hi Barb,

I have (excuse the spelling) sebbaceous dermatitis. For quite some time, I've used Nutragena T-Gel, which I believe is a coal tar product.

It has kept it under control, but if my hair gets a little long, or goes several hours beyond the normal washing time, my scalp becomes very itchy. It will also spread to my eyebrows and along the sides of my nose and ears. Flaking can be considerable.

I try to modify my diet and restrict sugar, plus am pretty up on the efa's and exercise.

At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, I used Nizoral for the first time last week. The results were very dramatic, at least for me. No shampooing for 2 days, and no itching or flaking. On the 3rd day, I used regular shampoo and still no itching or flaking.

Nothing has provided this sort of relief for me in the past. Now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and find out this product causes cancer in those who walk past it, never mind use it!

Say it ain't so Joe (Barb!)

Thanks for the follow up,

Dan

nmi,

Nizoral (shampoo and tablets) worked great for me -- while I had psoriasis. I have't had an outbreak (mine was severe) since I stopped eating all dairy products. No more psoriatic arthritis, either, and I was crippling! To challenge this I ate a small quantity of butter and in about 3 hrs. my jaw became arthritic. Have you had food allergy testing? That may be the problem -- I found out (at age 38) that I have had life-long allergy to cow's milk, like most of the people on the planet. Take care.

Nizoral is excellent-- aside from helping to combat DHT--- it smells great...
I have found nothing better--expensive; but WELL worth it

Thanks, Cured.

Of course, you understand that Nizoral has nothing to do with psoriasis UNLESS it is caused by candida--something that dermatologists are still denying any knowledge of!

Namaste`

Walt

Dr. Stoll,

It is unfortunate, isn't it, that conventional medicine denies the link between psoriasis and Candida? Especially when one considers that "one of their own," a dermatologist at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, Dept. of Dermatology, has done extensive reseach on this. . . Go figure.
