Posts to Ask Dr Stoll BB regarding Restless Legs Syndrome
There have been several posts to the Ask Dr Stoll
Bulletin Board (BB) regarding Restless Legs Syndrome.
Many of them have been archived here. The archive is roughly
chronological. I hope you find it useful.
Summary of restless legs syndrome:
This is from "bracing" (see the glossary)!
This condition is a great example of something purely caused by the storage of stress-effect in the hypothalamus.
The solution is Skilled Relaxation (SR) practiced twice a day for 20 minutes. See the SR archives, the homepage article about it and the glosssary.
The second most common cause is a low intracellular magnesium. See the archives about magnesium and the glossary.
Finally, you can prove that I know what I am talking about by geting a total-body, deep, therapeutic massage 3 times a week for 2 weeks. The condittion will totally disappear at once and will not come back for a month or so. OR, you can be Rolfed (see the glossary) and the condition will also immediately disappear and will not come back for a year or so. The only permanent solution is to do the SR mentioned above but that takes about 6 months for resolution.
The rest of this archive as about testimonials and the experiences of those who followed these suggestions.
The way you pay for this free advice is by sharing your experiences with the BB as you get over your restless legs.
