An interesting site on anatomy and a way out of chronic pain!

Hey Gang!

I learned today about an interesting site BodymindResources.com (linked below) that may be of special interest to those here with chronic muscle tension and pain (actually that probably includes MOST of us, whether we know it or not!).

There see especially free "The Heal Thyself Series" based on a series of ten live two-hour classes designed to systematically take the student through each part of his or her body, teach them the necessary anatomy and the palpation skills to clinically release, realign and heal the physical structure, muscle tissue and connective tissue of that part of the body. I'm not sure I understand it, but it looks like it just might be helpful. They suggest you read and then take a week to practice each chapter. Makes sense to me.

Doc Kim and Walt, if you have just a few minutes to explore this class, I'd certainly appreciate your comments on whether this looks good or not. What I've read there in the first chapter certainly seems to fit with what Walt has said about how muscles work and about bracing.

Enjoy!

Just the links page alone is a treasure trove. The person who put that web site together is an exceptional human being! Thanks for sharing it with us, RHJ.

penny:

Thanks for taking a minute to check it out.

I had not even looked at their links page, but I definitely see what you mean. Looks to me like a person could steer over that way and be there a loooooooong time, just exploring these intriging links!

Wow,

I haven't even checked out the links pages, been too busy going through the classes!

This is a VERY informative site for bad back people.

Thanks Jim, I probably never would have found that if you hadn't posted the link.

Thanks, RocketHealer Jim.

Once again you have found a treasure. It is gratifying to see others jumping on the bandwagon!

Namaste`
