I have been going to a rolfer. I just completed my fourth session yesterday. Since I was in a car accident and always tense, she had a lot to work through. However, during the fourth session while she was working on my back, we noticed that nearly all of the knots that I had had in my back were gone. It also did help me to relax a bit better when doing SR since my shoulders weren't so tight. I think that it's going to benefit me immensely in the long run since I have a kyphotic curve in my back.
I was wondering if Dr. Stoll read my addendum to my previous post about the white spots in my mouth.
I am really adamant about trying to make the SR work. I read the Relaxation Technique already and am wondering if in my case I should try to do the technique described there, guided imagery, or just listen to one of the CDs that I have seen mentioned here numerous times. My problem by the way is that I have trouble focusing and find myself thinking about other things.
Thanks for all your help!!
Doreen

Hi, Doreen.
I guess I must have missed the white spots in the mouth thing. Repost?
It matters not a whit which technique you use. What matters is that whatever you use produces the "relaxation response".
