Thank you Dr. Stoll for this great web site and opportunity to share.
In order to solve my most difficult personal challenge, Rosacea, a disfiguring, "incurable" disease. I turned to my business skills, looking for the cause and effect of this devastating disease. For seven years, over 50 doctors and far more holistic practitioners offered no hope for a cure. I asked the same questions, "if I have a healthy cell today and a disease cell tomorrow - why can't it be reversed?" "What are the conditions for a healthy immune system?" By age 41 I thought my life was over, my face was bright fire engine red, raw and I lanced boils daily. The disease had no mercy as it continued to worsen. I spent all my financial resources, in my heart begging to understand how my immune system did healing and repair. I concluded that the body is a natural system, so I chose to avoid medications. Most people thought I had been in a fire. I realized why people with so much internal pain end their lives or take up addictions. Refusing to accept defeat, determination to heal led me to a complete cure and the recovery of my eyesightin the seventh year. I have no scares and my eyesight is 20/20. Before and after pictures can be seen on my web-site www.joy-full.com when you need encouragement and hope.
I'm reminded that helaing begins within - the symptom (face) becomes the messenger of the inner organs and internal environment. When we get our chemistry and lifestyles back in alignment with our spirit, our body knows how to heal. Many of us have altered our chemistry and internal harmony; we suffer the side effects from fear, abuse, depression, rage, stress and medications. The good news is - healing is not that complicated.
Allergies were my first sign of imbalance before the onset of rosacea. I learned that allergies and sinus problems have a direct link to a toxic colon. In reflection, I had adrenal exhaustion, hormone imbalance, toxic liver, yeast and acidic pH condition. The body is a whole unit, therefore my physical imbalance also increased my anxiety, fear, stress, depression, anger, and feelings of desperation. All of which led to a seven-year incurable disease.
My red face was a direct reflection of my stressed organs, directly related to living in what felt like a wooden, joy-less body.
I started emotional therapy, first addressing the fears that had consumed me since my diagnoses, and then going further back into my past. I began to face my work addiction, (workaholic, one who works often while physically exhausted and emotionally empty) denying stress and personal needs had become a way of life. My false feelings of worthiness and internal need to always be needed had pushed this addiction forward. I had a compulsion to stay busy and numb out, serving out of exhaustion had caused me to feel angry and resentful at my own behavior. I had served others for years at my own expense until my body as my friend stopped me.
I learned self-love and joy are great medicine, so I stopped hating the disease and instead nurtured myself like an abandoned, traumatized child. I refused to be around anything stressful or anyone negative and focused all my energy on healing.
I have learned: the pH level (the acid-alkaline measurement) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies. Over-acidification of the body is the unerlying cause of the "messengers" of disease, when the body is in a healthy alkaline balance, germs are unlikely to get a foothold.
While experienceing pain, illness, or disease one can assist the natural healing process by eliminating foods that basically convert to sugar, starch, and acid - lowering the immune system. Foods such as; grains, pasta, fruit, sugar, dairy, junk food, and alcohol. Add to this list eliminating caffeine, cigarettes, "acid forming" negative thoughts, and stress. Yeast infection feeds on sugar and starch, it robs our energy and immune system. On an alkaline diet, most people feel significantly stronger within days and their aches along with pains lesson. My suggestion, try it and notice any difference, healing begins within when we have harmony internally and externally in our lives. Practice moderation and eat a variety of healthy foods.
My miracle healing now has become my path. It was natural for me to go into the holistic field and write the book I sought in my time of need but could not find.
"Joy-Full Holistic Remedies" - 6 chapters details my healing story, includes 10 chapters of self-help exercises on self-healing.

Thanks, Georgie!
You had to learn all this the hard way when all those docs (whose responsibility it is to be at the cutting edge of this kind of knowledge) had remained intentionally ignorant to protect the monopoly. Of course, they did not hesitate to accept payment for their ineffective advice. What you have done, you did yourself and so deprived the profession of money.
Hopefully your experience will inspire others to help themselves.

Hi -
I enjoyed reading your post and learned much. Rosacea is the first thing I had that I went to Walt Stoll with when he was in Kentucky. I did some of what you mentioned and I think the biggest thing was the SR. A skin specialist told me (because I got a bad reaction to the medications)....anyway she told me that some of her friends in the field had people go home and listen to relaxation tapes and within several days the breaking out went away - something to try. Believe it or not, a combination of the things Walt Stoll recommended and the SR they both recommended worked!
Thanks.

But, Walt, most of us here have HAD to learn the hard way. Going through various doctors, following their directives, ingesting medications/drugs which caused their own problems whilst temporarily alleviating the main problem. And why, because we had been raised as children to believe that doctors always knew what was right for us, and had the best intentions. In a sense we have been programmed in this way. I guess you could say a bit of naivety.
I had an appointment with a specialist a couple of weeks ago. I was so nervous being there. Sitting in the waiting room. It felt so much like a hospital. Internally, I was shaking like a leaf, bracing a lot, so tense. I dont know why, just felt very afraid. Before my name was called, there was a woman of about 25 sitting next to me, she looked like a uni student, studying away. Then the next moment, a door facing directly towards us opened, and out of the door, comes a nurse holding onto the arm of a very old lady whose eye was heavily bandaged. She was crying hysterically. The girl sitting next to me was her granddaughter. Anyway, she cried and cried and was holding onto her granddaugher. I dont know what her medical condition with her eye was, but she was sooooo sad. I felt so bad for her.
So that just turned my anxiety way way up. I dont know what it is, but I always feel tense in a medical situation. Maybe its the energy that the other patients are emitting and I am just picking up on it. I havent had any horrid incidents to speak of in a hospital. Except for when I was five and broke my arm, and was rushed to the hospital in the city. We lived out in the country at the time, far from the hosptial. I remember the doc having to set the bone on my arm.
and boy do i remember screaming my lungs out. The pain! SHEER PAIN! Even now, I can remember it. The worst pain I have EVER suffered in my life to date.
Since I have been on the anti candida/whole foods diet, things have greatly improved for me on all levels. My energy level is much better, my moods are MUCH more stable, my skin is much better, and I just feel so much better about myself. Plus I have been doing some healing work with a spiritual facilitator that heals on a very deep level. Its great, because its not like some forms of healing where you are continually rehashing the emotions and just talking endlessly about your problems without resolving them. This gets to the root of the problem and very quickly too. Of course, there is more for me to work on, but I am always so excited about doing this healing work. i find it such a challenge to work on my issues and to see them face to face, what they are, how they came to be, and then to move on and out of my psyche. Although this work can be very confrontational and full on at the same time.
I use to have so much bottled up anger a few years ago. But once I took up this healing, SO much of it has dissipated. Almost like I became a new person in a short period of time. Even others noticed the difference in me.
Its been interesting times for me as of late. Everything (well almost everything!) is going so great. Its like things are falling into place, and my life is starting to be happy for a change, truly happy with myself and the world. I am not sure whats set these positive events in place. Its like I am attracting positivity towards myself in my everyday life. Maybe its just been positive thinking on my part, and not letting things get to me. All is as it should be!
Anyway, I just wanted toshare. Not sure why but there it is, in all its garbled, waffling, sleepy eyed beauty. lol.

Very interesting reading.....I am an Esthetician (facialist) and see people all the time with Rosacea...but as you know, it is very hard to convince people to heal from within first...I have not seen any Rosacea with boils, only the severe redness...most of the people are drinkers and smokers...I really did not know of a cure...but I take and suggest Juice Plus...I am very impressed with this pill...I also work for a medical doctor so you must know how hard it is to promote Juice Plus around medical doctors even though they seem to like Juice Plus (but do not take it)...please e-mail me if you have time...Thank You...PS. What part of Texas are you from? I live in East Texas...
