Does anyone know if it is effective to use Vit K cream for treating small blood vessels that have remained for a long time? My face is all clear since I treated C-RS; I don't have peeling or sensitive skin anymore. My skin will look perfect if I get rid of those small pink spots which are very pale. (Since I hade them with cosmetics, people actually think I have perfect skin.) Thanks.

Hi! Congratulations with your success in treating the condition. I am trying as well, and i was wondering what type of rosacea did you have, and what treatment you used to get rid of candida?
As for VitK cream, i have no idea, sorry.

My symptoms were: severely sensitive skin, peeling forever until raw skin showed, red patches on my cheeks, chin and face line. I also develoed Perioral Dermatitis. I had itchy red bumps around my mouth. It used to flare up around my period and later became to persist and didn't go away at all.
This was almost 2 years ago. I have been symptom-free for a year and a half.
How to treat C-RS is archived on this website. Basically, you will need to get rid of the over-growth of the micro organism Candida abicans. I went on Perfect Whole Foods Diet which is recommended by Dr. Stoll, eliminated all of the foods that I was not digesting well (due to food allergy.) Preacticed Skilled Relaxation twice a day (and I am still doing it.) I also changed my face wash, skin care products and tooth paste to hypo-allergic ones (one that is SLS-free, dye-free, perfume-free. For face wash, I used Cetaphil)
I also took food-grade Oregano oil, Thyme oil and Clove oil which are known to have powerful anti-fungal propertices. Because those oils are very strong that they can burn your mouth if taken directy, I put a few drops of oil in an empty vegi cap (started small and increased the dosage up to 5 drops) and took it before going to the bed and the f †irst thing in the morning. I changed the oil every 4 days and stopped after 2 weeks. Then I started to take Primal Defense.
Anyway, you can also look up Resecea in the archive page. I know there are different cases of Resecea which have been successfully treated.

Thank you very much for bringing hope! :)
Was your diet low in carbohydrates? I have been reading about success from people limiting their carbohydrate intake to below 30grams /day.

The effectiveness of that approach varies from person to person. I tried that and I lost weight quickly which for me was a bad thing as I was already thin. I stuck with eating whole foods with no fruit or sweetner for the first 3 months. If you are looking to lose weight also, it should be very effective. It seems to have worked for many people.
I recommend that you also take L-glutamine while on this diet.

Ok, thanks for the info!
I am already extremely underweight, so maybe i should include a couple of grains each day :)
I have been taking L-Glutamine for about 3 months now, and trying to battle candida for 5 months. Maybe the problem is that i have tried different diets(lowcarb, bloodtype, rawfood) and not been totally consistent for a long time with any of them.
I also take nystatin, and rotate GSE, kyolic, black walnut and caprylic acid.
Just ordered the whole foods book, so i will look into that when it arrives.
Thanks for the help!

Hi Apple,
I too am working on my rosacea, and I did buy a 5% vit. K cream to that end. I was convinced it would help and was very disappointed when it did nothing. The theory behind it being effective made sence to me, but it just didn't work, I don't know, maybe it's just me... :(

Hi, is your Rosecea still present? Have you got rid of the Candida & LGS?
If you are still affected by sensitive skin which is caused by Rosecea, anything in that cream might cause your skin to inflame or remain inflamed. When I had rosacea, I could not put vit K cream as my skin would react badly. (To anything non-hypo-allerginic.)

Dr. Stoll, since you did not respond to my initial post about the use of Vit. K cream to treat the remaining blood vessels, I am re-posting. Any idea? Or if you know of any treatment to make those spots permanently. I would be interested in learning about it. The "spots" are actually pores that are pink-colored and the tissue around it is also slightly pink. I have about 5 of them. They are not clogged or erupted. The skin is completely normal, other than that. Since it is easy for me to hide them with foundation, I do that but I am hoping they will dissapear some day soon!

Hi Apple,
The vit. K cream didn't make me react at all, it just didn't help any. I have not been able to do away with the leaky gut yet, or the candida completely, but so far the only thing to have helped my rosacea get better is the whole foods diet, thoguh the last five months or so have been tough and I lost ground due to the holidays, travelling, both kids' birthdays, etc, but I am trying to get back on track. The weight loss I experienced during the last year from the whole foods diet has better allowed me to and has inspried me to finally add in the exerise componant, but I am still struggling with finding a skilled relaxation technique that I can do and that works for me....
