SR Progress? Get this!

Posted by Kim on October 01, 2003 at 11:42:10:

Dr. Stoll, months ago, I wrote in about a skin problem of mine. The facial skin is sensitive to every cosmestic, as well as sun and heat. (pimpling, sometimes redness, some rosacea like symptons). My back had grown sensitive as well, with acne like hives that doesn't go away for months. I made a serious committment Sept One to practice SR (yoga nidra) two times a day. one month later, i have not missed a session, sometimes adding a third longer one. Two weeks into it, i noticed that a wart on my finger that I had used everything under the sun to remove and had finally given up on, was disappating. Now, a month later it is almost gone! The rosacea facial flushing went from cheeks and nose to nose and finally this week is gone. The back is still bad, but I'm determined. My face still breaks out in the heat, but not as bad. I still can't wear cosmetics. BUT I intend to kick this thing and it's only been a month. I've also begun EFA's about three weeks ago. If you have't gotten into SR, do it now.

Your testimony inspires me to start. Even though I am going to have to get up at 5:30am to fit it in. I hope I can stay awake that early!

Could you give us an example of your schedule and how and where you fit it in?

I had at least 7 flat ones on my feet. Yes, I know... it's disgusting. But, after doing SR for a few months all of them went away. I was shocked. I had these for about 4 years or so. I didn't try anything to get rid of them and I wasn't consiously trying to get rid of them with the SR, either. Just another nice benefit. Makes you wonder what kind of good stuff is happening inside your cells, doesn't it? :-)

I get up early for 45 minutes (the longer session works best for me) and then 20 minutes in the afternoon. At times of high stress, I take another 20 minutes at lunch. I use a guided autogenics type relaxation tape. You become addicted to it after while. Good addiction. You're right about the cells. What WAS going on before SR? I'm assuming that what is going on is that my immune system is getting itself together?

Thanks, Kim.

Real person testimonials make more difference than anything I can say!

The unexpected benefits rule out the placebo effect.

Just think how much good is going to accrue in a year!

Walt
