I have a friend whose nose has more than doubled in size in the last couple of years. When it first started I thought it was skin cancer, but it's different from anything I have ever seen- it just kept growing larger and is all bumpy growth. He won't go to the doctor. Seems like I read something somewhere a year or so ago about what this is, but I can't remember. Can anyone give me some info? Thanks. He really needs help.

Although growth and swelling of the nose is usually
seen in the men with severe rosacea, it is not
uncommon to see women with milder cases of this form.
In many cases, nose growth is related to three things:
1. Increased blood flow to the nose -- ie. chronic
red nose
2. Increased growth of sebaceous gland size, number
and activity -- ie. physical alteration in size and
shape of nose, increased oil production and enlarged
pores.
3. Tissue swelling and growth of new tissue
Laser surgery is your best option .

Hi, JJ.
Listen to Deto!
I have found, however that eliminating C-RS will reverse this. If one only uses laser surgery, the problem will recur.
