Hi all,
I read somewhere on this BB that Real Salt is supposed to be the best, and can be found in Whole Foods Market. Well, today I looked all over the store and couldn't find it, not even with the help of a clerk.
For the last 6 years I've been using "Si sea salt"--a product supervised and recommended by the macrobiotic gurus. However, after reading about how polluted our sea and ocean has become, the idea of sea salt doesn't sound safe anymore. So I decided to try the rock salt.
I know I can mail order it over the internet; but I just want to try a little bit first before buying in the pounds. I'd like to know what stores carry Real Salt. Thanks.

Would the W.F. market order it for you? If they can get it through one of their regular distributors, they should be willing. Do you have other, independent health food stores in your area? If so, they might be more willing and able to special order it for you, so that they get your business. Just a thought. It never hurts to ask.

My Whole Foods store does carry it. I'm looking at my bottle now. Their website is www.realsalt.com. Their number 1-800-367-7258. Perhaps they could tell you where to find it or you could order direct.

Hi, bing.
I had to order mine direct from Redmond Minerals, Box #271302, Salt Lake City, UT 84127-1302.
It comes in a sturdy 26 oz. plastic pouch with dispenser and cost me $4.99/pouch and a minimum of $6 S&H. I ordered a lifetime supply (10 bags) and the S&H was still only $6.
Hope this helps.
