Sr?
I know Dr. Stoll says one orgasm per day, and i have to follow doctors orders :), but as it can be somewhat exhausting, is it best to do this before or after sr or does it matter?

What were his exact instructions? Now this is medicine I can take. . .

Yes he did. :) He said it helps prevent congestion buildup in the uterus, and also helps men, except I cant remember what he said about the men, I was only paying attention to the female issues.

hey there
I can't see why it would matter, but I like to do it after, when my body is relaxed. I would argue that either way it prepares the body for deeper relaxation, either deeper shift into the sr, or deeper relaxed approach into the "real world."
oh I love practicing wellness ;)

Thanks, Orgasmic.
It is easier after but the SR is also easier after a good orgasm (Is there any other kind?) It really makes no difference for what you are trying to treat.
Let us know how you do.

Total hysterectomy here, so what else does it help? (besides mental attitude & loving feelings toward spouse)

It would stimulate blood flow and relaxation for the entire pelvic region.

What does having a uterus have to do with orgasm?

Two posters above me said (in explaining that Walt said 'one orgasm per day') and the poster said, "Did Walt really say that" The the poster above me said:
Yes he did. :) He said it helps prevent congestion buildup in the uterus, and also helps men, except I cant remember what he said about the men, I was only paying attention to the female issues.
So then I asked, "What else does it help? What if you don't have a uterus?" Then someone answered something like, "It helps blood flow to the whole pelvic region".
I know orgasm helps lots of things & I just wondered what it helps, according to Walt, if you don't have a uterus (because it can't help the congestion backup in the uterus).
I think I'm having difficulty expressing myself regarding this topic. Maybe I need to go have the big O right now, myself. ;)

Thanks, "to".
Regular orgasms help almost everything.
For the really BIG O's try the Kama Sutra.

Walt,
I'm a semi-regular so, I wanted to be anonymous from my regular anoymous moniker, lol ... you probably figured out who I am, anyway. :) I'll have to try the Kama Sutra (but have no idea what that is. I'll look it up)

Dianne
I find that after orgasm I am almost too relaxed to meditate without falling asleep, which doesnt normally happen to me when I meditate. So maybe orgasm for me is just too relaxing to meditate. Do you find this happens to you, Dianne.

Tantric methods and books on tantric sex and orgasm really seem better than the kama sutra, thought the KS is great for variable positions and such, Tantric sexual books explain how to make it a WHOLE BODY EXPERIENCE---and believe me---it is the whole body---KS is OK, but TS is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better, especially with a willing partner, and focuses an every body area (chakras)...not just a bunch of bull---it really works!!!

Thanks, "O".
You are absolutely right. I have found that once one reads the Kama Sutra, they almost inevitably also begin to learn about Tantric Sex. Some work for some and others work for others.
Namaste`
