The smartest woman never says Yes unless its an informed Yes.
The Smartest Woman Knows the Difference between Myth and fact:
1. Myth - It was a love that was meant to be
FACT- It was hormones. We are all prisoners of our own chemistry from time to time. But even your chemistry professor will tell you that there's a lot more to life than molecules.
2. Myth - It was a love that was meant to be.
FACT - It was a mistake. We all make mistakes. It's part of being human. But dont turn an honest mistake into a ten year ordeal, just because you cant admit that you erred.
3. Myth - It was a love that was meant to be.
FACT - It was the moon. When the setting was perfect, he seemed perfect. But many moons have passed, and now you'd be better off running with the wolves.

High maintenance women are like high maintenance cars.... fun to look at , but not very practical.

The smartest woman knows there's a limited supply of decent, loving men out there. If one passes your way, stop for a minute and pay attention.
The smartest woman knows for many men, too sexual too soon is too much.
The smartest woman knows too much intensity too soon is too much for most men to handle.
The smartest woman has the strength, the clarity, and the cofidence to sit back and let the beginning of the relationship evolve slowly - as it should.

appreciates his sensitivity without depreciating his sex appeal.

Get this book for your daughter. Its called Men Like Women Who like themselves (and other secrets that the smartest women know) by steven carter and julia sokol.
I actually found that I had to re read this book, (I am in my early 30s, not a teenager)and realized how unrealistic my expectation of men is, and how immature I act when it comes to love, and how too open, too quickly I am with my private life, and it IS inappropriate.
I also learnt that my self worth and health is worth more than any man, and to never compromise it for him, even if he is handsome, charming, rich, sexy, turns me on etc etc. And to always act like a lady.
Here is some more for you: Print these out for your daughter as well.

FACT: Some men like women who give them a hard time. And these men are not necessarily the healthiest bunch of men.

*values his character more than his cash flow
*wants his company more than she wants his car
*likes his personality more than she likes his portfolio
*appreciates his humour more than she appreciates his house
the smartest woman knows how to let go and move on
the smartest woman treats every breakup as his loss
the smartest woman never feels dead when the line goes dead
never thinks she's lost the connection every time she hangs up the phone from him
never thinks hanging on to the phone is going to help her hang on to him

the sw knows that sometimes giving less gets you more than giving more
men wonder about women who get too interested too soon.
too many guys even good guys, dont appreciate women who are ready to hand themselves over, no questions asked.
men like women who dont audition for wife on the first date.
the sw knows men appreciate woman who see the beauty of male pattern baldness.
men like women who arent afraid to be afraid of sexual intimacy. no one can afford to have sex with a stranger, no matter how attracted you are to that stranger, no matter how much potential a relationship with that stranger may seem to have, no matter how good his references or his resume. The fact is: a stranger is still a stranger.

The smartest woman knows no matter how well you communicate, its still never smart to listen to anyone more than you listen to the voice of your own spirit.
Get this book for your daughter! I wish I had it a long time ago, it makes the most sense about love and relationships, that I have heard in such a long time.

There are problems on both sides. This is a book for women and about women and how to conduct themselves in order to find the RIGHT man, and not lose themselves at the same time
I am sure there is a man book out there to, to help the fellas. I was more interested in this book tho.

This book made so much sense. I got it from the library, and couldnt putit down. Some of the points made in the book, I knew, but a lot of them I didnt realize that some things are so off putting to men. actually would be to any sex, really.
If I have a daughter one day, I am getting this book for her!
