Tiny red spots, and sore tongue.

Hi!
My english is really bad, so im gonna keep this short.
A week ago, after a night on the town with lots of alcohol and cigarets, my tongue got sore and funny looking.
First i thought it was because of the many cigarets i smoked. But its been a week now, and its still sore.

I have taken some pictures of it, please take a look.

My tongue is only sore at the middle and back, not on the tip or front end.
I smoke about 15 cigarets a day, and drink allmost everyday.

What could be causing this?
What can i do to gett rid of it?

I have a cartoon slide for slide presentations about this exact condition: It shows a bleary guy with a drink in hand and a cigarette in his other hand, telling his buddy at the bar "I keep going back to my doctor about my sore throat, sore tongue and upset stomach and he doesn't seem to know what to do about it."

Try doing without both for a month and let us know how you do. If you cannot do that, you had better understand that you are seriously addicted and there is worse to come.

Thanks for your reply.
My tongue is better today.. I have been drinking alot of water, and i'm trying to stay away from spicy food and alcohol.
I've cut down on the cigarets, so i only smoke 7-9 a day.
I'll let you know how it's going in acouple of weeks or so.

Could also be a yeast infection (thrush). A prescription lozenge called Mycelex Trochi will fix this condition if it is thrush. I had the same condition from inhaled steroids I was taking for asthma.
