Hi,
My boyfriend is a smoker, he's 22 and a few days ago a small
bump appeared under his tongue, on the part of his mouth that is
connected to the tongue. It's about the size of 1/2 a pea. It's not a
kanker sore, and doesn't hurt. It looks sort of like a 'skin tag'. He's
trying to get in to a doctor ASAP. Any ideas on what this is? I can't
stop thinking about cancer and I'm really worried.
Thanks, Jen

Hi, Jen.
Is cancer the only thing that will get his attention?

um, no...but I wanted to make the post brief. I am concerned about
cancer regarding him, and other possibilities of course. Perhaps
you can post something useful to us?

Jen,
See a physician and get a biopsy if indicated. Just consider the expense as one of the costs of smoking.
Statistics have shown for many years that the average ACTUAL cost of smoking a pack of cigarettes is more than $6/pack, when the costs of illness and missed work are factored in.
Let us know what he learns.
