Blood Clots

Hi Dr. Stoll, Remember me, the one with Protein C&S Deficiency?

I was a naughty girl and started smoking and being careless with my diet and pouf I had another blood clot. Needless to say I quit smoking AGAIN and am back to controlling my intake of vit.K.

What I wanted to say is the most effective blood thinner is Goat Milk. I take 1, 200mg tablet a day. If I increase it my gums bleed, so you can see from my experiment how effective it is. This coupled with the 400 iu of Vit E keeps me pretty well anti-coagulated.

I hope this will help anyone who is on Wafarin Sodium. Zarin

Moonflower,

SMOKING?!? Bad dog! No bone!

Seriously, I hope you are doing well and have learned your lesson. I can rag on you because I too am recovering from some unwise choices.

I seem less able to wander from the path of good wellness practices these days. Of course, you are dealing with an even less forgiving situation than mine.

Any idea what it is about goat milk that gives it that effect?

Wishing you the best.

Jim

Hi Zarin,

I was just reading that red clover has a goodly amount of natural coumarin in it. Mary J.
