After Surgery C5-C7

I am the Social worker that left a message back on 10/4/98 that both of you were thoughtful to respond to. I have had the surgery/disc removed/fission/plate. Surgery was anterior, when I woke up I had the feeling back in my fingers/hands and hardly any pain. That terrible pain shooting down my arm is entirely gone. I took your advice and started taking Vit C, B6, B12 and zinc a month ago. My Doctor originally told me 2-5 days in hospital, but he let me go home the next morning after I spent the entire night up walking around the hospital (surgery was 11/5/98) I have not even had any meds for pain. I have some soreness in neck muscles but all things considered I am very happy with the outcome at this point. I have Dr Stoll's book and am reading it. Thank you both for your input and reassurance and advice
