SR observation

Posted by Psychic? on June 17, 2003 at 20:31:03:

Something really strange has happened to me when doing SR. If it only happened once I would never waste BB space on it but it has happened 3x now for sure and I think it is fascinating. I use a GSR machine when doing my SR. These three times I was getting very relaxed, and the pitch on the machine was going down nice and steady (indicating that I was relaxing) and then all of the sudden the needle would jump completely inexplicable to indicate that i was getting more stressed for no reason in a way that hardly ever happens. And then, about 1-2 seconds later the phone would ring, which of course causes the needle to jump even higher because it startles me. The first time I thought it was a fluke, the second I thought maybe I was disoriented but the third time I knew it was for real. I was only trying to be silly about naming myself psychic but does anyone else think this is very interesting and strange? The needle never, ever ever jumps inexplicably up like that except for those three times.

Hi Psychic?

Sounds pretty interesting. Do you notice the change in your body as well when the spike happens? Do you notice if your body changes when the phone rings if you are not doing SR? Human life is so interesting.

Best wishes,
Happygal

Hi,
Sounds pretty weird (in a good way) to me. What's a GSR machine? What kind do you have? Are they expensive? Where do you buy them? Thanks.

Actually, we all have this "gift" but most of us just think it's a fluke and forget about it.

Seriously think about every time you've known something is going to happen before it actually does -- pay close attention to these times. They happen more than you think. :)

I have a problem with ALWAYS knowing when something bad is going to happen just 10 minutes or so before they do. What was really weird was when the doctor put me on Paxil - I didn't have those episodes anymore. I started to miss those premonitions but shortly after quitting the Paxil .. they're back.

I'm used to them now and when I get the weird feeling and image in my head of something bad happening ... I keep an eye out for it. It's actually not a bad thing to have. :)

Hey psychic, I'm reading "The Field" by Lynne McTaggart these days. In it she describes a scientist who did research in this area. He found that all of his subjects registered prior physical knowledge (in a very similar fashion that you did) to events. None of his subjects consciously felt the physical change, but this change registered on equipment, suggesting that on some level they were sensing the event about to happen.

My belief is that increasing awareness will allow one to tune in to these pre-event physical changes (or other level changes) until we reach the point of consciously recognizing it and predicting that the phone is about the ring. Some people show this ability already on a regular basis.

Hey - something really odd happened to me this past week which was similar.
I did my centerpointe, and have been able to really get deep into meditation with it of late...(it's been about 3 months of really working at it) and afterwards, I had a very at peace feeling. I was then giving a massage, about 2 hours later... after the massage I said to the man, "I have this feeling I should go to the school, that something is wrong" and he (who is pretty in touch) said, "go, you should go"....
SO - I went. I felt like an idiot. I went to the office and asked the very nice receptionist if my children were ok, if they were at the nurse that day or anything. she said, "oh everything is fine"...then when I walked out of the office, I stood in the lobby - down the hallway, came my daughter, crying - she had been stung by a bee. Her arm was swelling a little and she wanted to come home. The nurse knew I was there - and since it was one of those "end of school last days" she sent her home. I really feel the Centerpointe put me in a place where I was aware beforehand, of something... So, yes,I do feel that this could have happened to you - that it wasn't a fluke!
For me, the nurse and receptionist now feel I have "powers" LOL
