Hi - my son is 9...he has a soy allergy and chocolate allergy. We found this out a year and a half ago...he is off it most of the time. He also has "seasonal" allergies as well as dog/cat allergies. This child is always either stuffed up or itchy with a rash or bump, or just his skin itches. His father did have allergies, but I don't think like this...at this age.
Nick (son) had a traumatic birth - he was "stuck" in the birth canal (OK, it was traumatic for ME TOO! LOL) and had to be vacuumed out... he also was very stressed when his dad and I divorced...though he has adapted well to his step dad who is now adopting him. (adapted very well, they are very close)...I feel his allergies became worse when the marriage problems were escalating, though maybe it's my imagination. I never remember him having rashes as much pre second grade...
I am now working on taking control more of my children's health, now that mine seems under control or at least, empowered by my "self" - should I start with leaky gut or what - with him. *he is also very active, very happy, but very emotional - has outbursts.

Hi, Michele.
Chronic stress-effect build up affects EVERYTHING!!!!!!
Your son is at the perfect age to combine SR with the rest of what you are doing for his LGS: "Meditating With Children" by Deborah Rozman.
Let us know how you do with him.
Walt
