I have been doing several different Brain Sync CDs at least once per day. They are all Theta frequencies. Anyway, I can't seem to stay awake for them, but I am not exactly asleep either. It is kind of like I am drifting in and out of consciousness during the entire time. It doesn't seem to matter if I am tired or not. Is this what is supposed to be going on during Theta or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Mary,
As long as you are not actually falling asleep, it sounds like what goes on during theta to me.
Best wishes,
Happygal

What is the big spoon trick?

Sorry, Mary.
I thoiught it was listed in the home page FAQ but know it is listed in the SR archives.
Just hold a big spoon in your hand while doing your SR. As you slip beyond theta, into delta (sleep), it will slip out of your hand and wake you up. Just pick the spoon back up and go on with your practice.
Hope this helps.
