This might seem strange, but I have been doing SR on a more regular basis for the last few weeks. Lately I have been noticing stressful things/situations that I previously didn't see as particularly stressful. For instance, I was driving today in heavy traffic on the freeway and started to notice that I was somewhat stressful. I immediately applied some breathing techniques to calm down. What I am finding is that as I do SR more regularily, I am becoming more relaxed and therefore noticing the stressful situations more. Prior to this, when I got in a stressful situation, I didn't notice because I was actually "living" in a state of stress most of the time. I was always stressed but didn't know it and was believing this state was normal. Now my eyes have been opened and I am very excited about where I am headed with this. Has anyone else experienced similar results?

Prior to learning about and practicing SR, I had so much tension in my neck and shoulders. It was constant. I would often wake up with this pain and by mid day, it had turned into a violent headache. I tried to keep off OTC pain meds and would visit my chiropractor up to twice a week. Very expensive. Then I tried neurocranial restructuring which helped the pain greatly. A couple month after the last NCR treatment, the tightness and pain was coming back. I had been doing the SR but wasn't always successful at reaching Alpha. I started practicing more earnestly and found that I had greater and greater success in relaxing. I made it a habit, when I felt the pain to add one additional SR session to my day...always with wonderful results that the tension and pain (including devastating headache pain) would be gone within 24 hours. It does work and it is amazing.

Thanks, John.
Your "quick fuse" will take longer than your GERD and prostatitis to improve. Remember that, if it has not improved within a year, you are going to have to seek help (counseling) to break the habit formed while you were living so close to the edge of your cliff.
