Ok, lets hear it...
I`m interested to hear both positive and negative
feedback on what you have achieved with Centerpointe.
I`m particularly keen to hear if any of those customized
affirmations worked or failed.....

Nothing negative except for the price...
But for me, you can't put a pricetag on something that is so beneficial. I'd pay double if they raised prices.

Like Michele, I am a big fan. My levels of anxiety and depression have reduced greatly in the almost 2 years I have been following the program. Just this last weekend I stayed (reasonably) calm in the face of a difficult (British understatement!) neighbour standing outside my front door, shouting and threatening me and breaking the glass in the door. I certainly couldn't have done that 2 years ago. Go for it.

Speaking of price, what does it cost to advance to the other levels. Does anyone know what it would cost in the end to proceed through all levels? Is it worth it?
My husband and I are interested in Centerpointe, but he feels it is overpriced and is wary of being "scammed" into huge sums of money to complete the program. I know there is no obligation to move on, but who wants to settle for less when there could be something more?

To be honest....
I find that by using it LESS frequently is the key to keeping it "fresh"... I went above and beyond the brain chemistry that they speak of in their "levels"... and found that if you take a break from it, about 2 weeks or so, you will be able to refresh quite easily and remain "challenged" if that's a word you'd want to describe to use this.
Of course, to those who have purchased more levels, you'll probably get different views - as a way to perhaps rectify their orders.
I found out that "frequencies are frequencies"...so the levels are not as needed. Also, if you can meditate on your own, you can train yourself to go beyond the frequencies earlier in your CD, and the CD is just an aid...
For example, Buddhist monks get to the deeper levels without any aids... so the key is to learn to meditate on your own and use Centerpointe as just a helper. THat's MY opinion though, and I'm sure you'll get differing opinions.
My take on the entire SR/Meditative state is that instead of looking to products & paid services to help (brainsync, sedona, TM, Centerpointe etc...) I simply go to the base of what their goals are and find alternative ways to reach those goals without compromising my budget or becoming dependent. THe most enlightened people - from historical Jesus and Siddhartha, did not use any of the said methods and had amazing mind/body control.
However, the inital cost of Centerpointe is well worth it. If you like, email me at omwellness@aol.com.... I'd like to tell you a bit more that I'd prefer to not disclose here..especially if you are on a budget!

Isn't it great when you know you have decreased your anxiety?
We should warn Paul that however, there CAN be feelings that are a little unsettling at times, even physical issues such as muscle twitches and emotional release...
It IS a bed of roses, and well worth the small thorns to get to the ever opening buds and blooms. :)
*a little too poetic eh? LOL

I, too, enjoy the program. I think the secret to affording it is to do the monthly payment plan, and think of it as a bill, or a regular investment. Because, of course, it is an investment.

Sue,
Did you use the basic intro Cds or did you use
affirmations..From my quick read of their site I
understood that you could have them programme in your
own goals.
Anyone want to comment on the effectiveness of
these two approaches.
A friend of mine offered to loan me his..with
all sorts of affirmations about raising confidence,
being self aware and general positive stuff. I`m
actually worried to use them...because my ego is already
too HUGE....lol.

Hi Paul,
I've only been using Centerpointe for one month, so it's too early to say very much. But on some sessions I go into a very deep meditative state, and other sessions not and instead I experience some anxiety and sometimes slight pains here and there, but this is also suppposed to be expected. No life altering changes yet, but I'm still waiting and hoping.....

You need to use the basic CDs first, called Awakening Prologue. Then you can move up to the first level of the customised CDs which have your affirmations on them which people record for themselves.

During the blackout, I got a pitcher of water, fresh batteries, and ran the CD for 14 hours straight. I didn't fall asleep, but for the next 3 days, I couldn't stand to listen to it. Without getting into what some of the affirmations were supposed to do, I found myself repeating some of them out loud while doing the thing I affirmed.

Hi Gregory,
Sounds like that (listening to the CD's for 14 hours) could be really dangerous! I'm just getting ready to start Centerpointe (listened to the intro a couple of hours ago), and am really anxious to get going. All the testimonials have been great -- hope I'm not expecting too much, though.

Hi DonnaW,
I feel quite confident in saying that you will NOT be disappointed! Centerpointe does wondrous things for all but a handful of people.

In your archived post, you mention that you would have done The Invisible Path to Success rather than Centerpointe had you heard about it first. Do you still feel this way? Have you embarked on the Invisible Path?

Yes, I still feel this way. the IPTS is about as close to a "User's Manual" for life as I've come across, and better
than all the affirmations in the world. It does however take a great deal of getting use to, and is different enough
that you have to give up some deep held beliefs about how the world works in order to use it to it's fullest.
THAT is the hard part. You will lose any advantage the system offers if you fall back into your old belief patterns.
I've been able to use Centerpointe to reinforce the IPTS material, but that's only because I brought Centerpointe
first. By the time I went through the IPTS material, It was time to make my Centerpointe affirmations tape. If I had to
do it over, I'd work exclusively the IPTS.
