Itchy forearms going on for years now

Posted by Mary on October 11, 2002 at 02:28:32:

I thought I'd post about this and see if anyone has suggestions about what to do about this.

Years ago I saw a clinical ecologist for allergies of which I have many. She didn't know why I was having such severe itching in my forearms. She prescribed Vistaril which I took for 6 months. It certainly helped at the time but now I have no tears in my eyes. They're constantly dry and of course I still have the itching problem. I take an ice pack with me to bed at night because I am frequently awakened with the itching. I also make sure I have one with me at all times. Needless to say, I'm fed up with this situation. I just don't know what to do about it.

Hi Mary - Your allergy problems are due to a Leaky Gut problem therefore, you need to go on an elimination diet and drink only pure water, for a period of three months and your allergy problems will disappear. Your gut (digestive tract) is inflamed, due to the use of antibiotics and steroid drugs, like prednisone and birth control pills, along with consuming an unhealthy diet. When this happens, toxins from the foods and beverages which we consume, are allowed to pass or leaky (leaky gut) through and into our bloodstream, which causes us to experience autoimmune and all kinds of food allergy problems. Once these toxins (chemicals, preservatives, pesticides, etc. in our foods and beverages) enter into our bloodstream, due to a leaky gut, they then have access to every part of our internal body, including our Brain, which is why so many of us are experiencing depression, memory loss and confusion (brain fog). How do you heal your Leaky Gut? Stop taking prescription drugs - eliminate the more toxic foods and beverages from your diet, for a period of three months, which will give your inflamed gut a chance to heal - consume garlic and onions if you also have a Candida problem - be sure that your bowels move at least two times everyday - take EFA (essential fatty acids), L-Glutamine or a product called Bowel Builder (Arise & Shine) to help heal your Leaky Gut -then and only then, can you take a quality probotic, like Flora Source to re-establish your Friendly Bacteria, which will strengthen your Immune System - drink 8 to 10 glasses of pure water everyday because water is the least tocic of all the liquids and water is the only liquid, that has the capability to hydrate your cells and keep them healthy! * Rick *

Hi, Mary.

Listen to Rick.

MY bet is that your itchy arms are from all the other things you have going on finally overwhelming your "nerves".

When just one part of the body acts like this (especially when it it a place so easy to reach) it always is this process.

Once you have the basic causes of your "allergies" resolved, self-hypnosis would be the fastest way to stop the arm itching.

Let us know how you do now that the door to your solution has been opened a crack.

Walt
