The theory of this work is, in part, based upon, Selye's
work. Selye essentially calls the fight or flight response
GAS (General Adaptation Syndrome). ARS (Adaptation Response
Syndrome) is what follows when an individual is chronically
producing corticotrophic releasing factor and chronically in
a fight or flight response. Their ForF response my be minor
or major yet it is there.
My thesis is that we humans are genetically very similar to
our ancient ancestors and that we have not adapted to modern
life. We are genetically programmed to live in a pastoral
environment with clean air, clean water, and natural food.
To illustrate this, think about indiginous people. Some
indiginous people are programmed to live in areas where
there is very little water. They can go for days with
drinking only very llittle water. Another example would be
to think about what happens when Americans go to Mexico and
drink their water. Americans are not adapted to Mexican
water and get sick from drinking it. These may not be
perfect exasmples but they give you an idea of what I mean
by the concept of adaptation.
I theorize that because of our genetic programming, our
bodymind perceives the components of modern life (pollution,
hybrid foods, chemicals, mental and emotional stress, cars
honking etc) as dangerous or at least stressors and
consequently we react with a mild or acute fight or flight
response on a continuous basis. In that chronic fight or
flight response, our physiology operates differently than it
should for optimal health. For example during fight or
flight the digestive juices are essentially shut down. If
we are in a chronic ForF than we chronically cannot digest
and absorb our food. When that happens eventually our body
suffers from lack of absorption. This lack of absorption
then leads to chronic diseases. The complex of disorders
caused by a chronic fight or flight response is what I call
Adaptation Response Syndrome (because we are not adapted to
our environment a syndrome of diseases arises). Included in
this syndrome are things like heart disease, and other organ
breakdown (Dr. Royal Lee and now Dr. Versandal speak of the
organic consequences of mal nutrition and onset of diseased
organs).
In my theory, other consequences of ARS are allergies and
sensitivities. I believe that allergies and sensitivities
are due to the bodymind failing to recognize substances and
in that non-recognition, views them as an enemy. When a
real or percieved "enemy" appears to the bodymind, it
increases its fight or flight response in the presence of
that substance (our food and environmental substances are
different from what we are programmed to recognize because
of hybridization, GMO, herbicides, pesticides etc.).
Other people, with reference to allergies, have said "the
body doesn't recognize" but they don't then directly relate
it to fight or flight and the body chemistry of fight or
flight. In short, fight or flight/ GAS - the stress
response is the work of Selye. and what I propose is that
when GAS becomes chronic, ARS arises.
Selye and others discuss the consequences of stress. What I
have done is to say that these consequences are not
individual diseases but a complex of many diseases
(Adaptation Response Syndrome) and that to treat these
diseases you must first eliminate the patients fight or
flight response to food and other agents. This will
increase absorbency, decrease other symptoms, and allow the
body to begin to heal. I do this with the method I
developed over the past 13-14 years (MAHAT- Mercay Advanced
Human Adaptation Technique). I believe and have experienced
that when a patient does my work then other modalities work
better (chiropractic, herbalogy, Chinese medicin

Hi, beegs.
Persist!
You have not been doing SR long enough for it to have any real effect. SO, whatever your are expereincing is what you would have been experiencing if you had never started it.
