I didnt fully realize this, until a friend at work mentioned that when she had some sugary food the night before, the next morning she had blurred vision. She is diabetic type 2 and wears glasses for reading, and takes medication.
I also remember jsut a few weeks ago this happening tome.(I am not diabetic. I am hypoglycemic) I cant remember if I ate something I wasnt meant to, but I know it wasnt sugar/refined carbs, as that is one thing I NEVER cheat on. I know I was very tired at the time, and that when I amvery tired or run down, I occasionally, although very seldom now , get blurred vision, nowthat I have restricted my sugar intake, but maybe its my blood sugar level being unstable through stress on my body (tiredness etc), not just sugar stress, not sure. Since I have been following the diet so strictly, I have only experienced the slight vision blurring once in about 4 months.
In the case of my friend, I was curious why it would take till the next morning to get the blurred vision? I am confused as to why as her blood sugar level should have balanced out by that time, as so many hours had gone by since eating the sugary foods. I thought that these symptoms of unstable blood sugar would make itself known quite quickly after the offending substance, not the next morning.

I get this too. It can also be triggered by other things like wheat to which I'm allergic.

Do you have diabetes or hypoglycemia? I wish I could remember back to that night, when I was vegging out on the couch, and my vision went blurry. Maybe I didnt eat enough, and it sent my blood sugar down. I really cant remember what I ate, just that I had had a full on day, and was very tired, feeling run down. I wouldnt have eaten wheat tho. I am allergic to that, and there are certain foods I am allergic to that I will NEVER eat. Once you are on this diet and you eat the offending substance, its like your body overreacts to even a small amount of it

If you have blood sugar problems you should be eating jerusalem artichokes. The Cayce store has dried jerusalem artichokes but I think fresh would be much better. They're toll free number is 1-866-812-8778.
