Is Brown Sugar Bad?

The only sugar I consume now is brown sugar, and I thought it was un-refined and natural, but I just found this:

9. What is brown sugar?

Brown sugar consists of sugar crystals contained in a molasses syrup with natural flavor and color components. Many sugar refiners produce brown sugar by preparing and boiling a special syrup containing these components until brown sugar crystals form. In the final processing the crystals are spun dry in a centrifuge; some of the syrup remains giving the sugar its characteristic brown color. Other refiners produce brown sugar by blending a special molasses syrup with white sugar crystals.

I don't understand the first process described above, so I don't know if it results in natural sugar, but I sure understand the second one, and refined white sugar sprayed with molasses is not something I want to let in my body!

Even if the first process is healthy, sugar manufacturers don't tell us anything on their packages, so how would anyone tell them apart?
