to HY question on Perfect Food

Posted by Silgan on October 17, 2002 at 12:32:52:

My question is how can Perfect Food have all of these "live enzymes" and even hold on to its nutrition when its packaged and stored for God knows how long? I would think that over time, it would loose much of its nutrition like stored fruits and veggies. Any response would be appreciated.

Thanks, Silgan.

Of course you are right! Only food organically grown in perfect soil, eaten within a few minutes of picking, is perfect food. Canned food has lost 40% of it's micronutrients as soon as it is canned and more every day thereafter, fresh frozen 15% & dried 5% (that stays like that practically indefinitely).

The fresh produce in the store has steadily lost many of it's micronutrients from the time it is picked until you eat it. The proteins, fats and carbohydrate calories are about the only things that survive these realities.

NOW, if one allows the manufacturers to deliberately throw away the micronutrients on top of those dismal %s, what can one expect with processed and pre-cooked foods???

Hope this helps.

Walt

The answer lies in the processing techinique. The vegetbales are fermented and then dried with NO heat. This preserves the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and probiotics until the powder is mixed with liquid. THEN, you begin to rapdily lose nutrition if the drink is not consumed.

Nobody is claiming that a green food supplement is better than the real thing. However, it can help fill in the gaps in a less-than-optimal diet
