If someone should want to take just a multi-vitamin supplement-what would be best to take-is something like Theragram-M asgood as any? Also, if I take b-complex vitamins, vit.e and maybe bio-flavoids would taking the multi-vit every day be to much? Thank you in advance!!

M, If they were to put in everything you need into one supplement it would be the size of a baseball..Anything you find will be missing something you need..Silver Fox!

I don't totally agree with the first poster. Lots of multivitamin supplements don't contain everything you need, but there are a few good ones out there. Look for a 'total nutrition' supplement in powder form. They absorb best into the body. You'll be pleased with the results you see when you use them.

M,
Listen to Cheezi & Steve.
Go to the supplement archives for the two, complememtary, approaches to supplementation. In my opinion, Theragran M is one of the poorest choices.

Silver Fox is correct. You can't possibly get optimal amounts from a couple of tablets a day.
Please please people. If you are truly concerned about getting the best nutritionals any ware at any price they need to follow Good manufacturing Practices guidelines for Pharmaceuticals not GMP's for food. Most nutritionals supplements follow GMP's for food (Hostess Twinkies). Also it would be great it they were in the PDR (Physician's Desk Reference). They should have a potency guarantee seal on the label. They should also follow USP specifications for Quality, potency and disintegration. The minerals should be chelated.
I could go on and on but you get the drift. You have to do your due diligents. I am in the R&D business and I am amazed at the poor quality nutritionals out there. I compare the top 500 companies. Remember if you are serious about your health, throw out the RDA levels. You are looking for optimal levels in your nutritionals. Good luck.
PS Stay away from the supermarkets.

Thanks, MK.
If everyone would do this.........
The government is seemingly set on doing it for us via CODEX and throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
