My mother takes centrum with luetein, and it has 250 mcgs of luetin. She is taking it for macular degeneration.
I don't like her choice of vitamins.
So, I bought her some Thompson lutein supplements that have 6mg of luetin.
Which has more luetin- the Centrum or the Thompson? I don't understand it, so I hope someon here can tell me.
I am thnking the Thompson brand has more.

Thompson has 24 times more Lutein than Centrum. 250 micrograms means it's 1/4th of 1 milligram X 6 = 24.

Hi, Donna.
In MY opinion, Centrum is a joke. It is even a bad joke foisted on the public who takes most of it's information from slick advertizing. How about the average of 35 different additives that lobbyists successfully kept off the lable as "inert"?
If she will listen to you, you might go to the supplements archives and help her at least do better.
