Hi Dr. Stoll
How do you feel about taking b-12 injections? How often would you do it - and what can I expect it to help?
THank you
Barbara

Hi, Barbara,
Since the "ideal" amount of B12 for some people can be at least 1000 times some one else's "ideal" level, there is no way to be sure without trying it by seeing what at least 1000 milligrams IM a couple of times a week for at least a month will do. Your bodymind will tell you. If you notice benefits I would continue for a few months to see what the maximum benefits might be
It is just now being determined how many different genetic messages are influenced by sufficient B12 so what changes you might notice are unknown. You may not notice ANY changes and that will tell you that you were already getting enough.
Let us know what you learn.
Walt

1000mg twice a week, and I can tell when I let it go too long and don't give myself my usual dose, which I do, cuz it's a pain. It really affected my energy and stamina when nothing else would help.
