I am getting ready to go to a top 10 Div. 1 swimming University and I have been having problems with tendonitis in my elbow area; the biceps, forarm, underarm, and more. O took 5 weeks off swimming in an attempt to let the arms heal themselves but it came back after 2 months of training. I have tried therapy, prescription strength anti-inflammitories and have not found any relief. If there is anything that you could suggest that would be great.
thanx

Hi, Competitive.
MY suggestion would be for you to investigate what all great athletes now do to enhance their performance: Imagery.
The first book written about this was titled something like "Mental Tennis" more than 30 years ago.
Your problem is bracing and the excess muscle tension is wearing your structure excessively (see the glossary and archives). Since imagery is one of the SR techniques, the same thing that would enhance yor performance would gradually decrease your bracing at the same time.
Let us know how you do.

you might be hypothyroid? It can cause quite a bit of muscle pain, even when there are very few other symptoms. It was the first symptom that I had.
There is a great product for this called Ligaplex II, caplets put out by Standard Processes, but, as Dr. Stoll is suggesting, you really need to find out why this is happening and fix the root of the matter.
