Thanks, Gail!
The USA is now getting the reputation of being the last to accept any new advance that was not directly developed in this country. Of course, in this situation, that just keeps the surgeon's fees higher longer.
I appreciate the references since I was so sure that everybody would already know about this I didn't keep it in my files.

Dr. Stoll,
You are so right about US being the last for new advancements. I can't find a living sole in the US that will perform this ultrasound procedure. They claim it is too new...well, gosh we got to start someplace!!! Anyway, it would appear ultrasound relief is out unless I fly to Vienna, Austria. Believe it or not I have had some rather interesting relief with an inversion table. I use it 2-3 times a day and it has relieved the pain. Still checking the other alternatives. If I find a sure-fired tendonitis buster you will be the first to know...thanks.

Thanks, Gail.
The technology has been successfully applied to kidney stones for more than 20 years. Too new??
Only a monopoly could get away with such shoddy thinking!
