Tendonitis

Hi. I was a passenger in a car accident in December. I was wearing my seatbelt and yet held onto the dash to restrain myself when I noticed another car pulled out in front of us. The impact caused my right arm to be jarred breaking my collar bone and 3 rib bones. My right shoulder now sets slightly forward. However, I had to have an MRI due to some immense pain just under my shoulder as my doctor thought it to be rotator cuff damage. It wasn't, but said he could see some tendonitis. What exactly is it and how long does it last as it is very painful. I hurt so bad sometimes just sitting typing at my computer...my heart goes out to those that may have it in a leg or hip because it is so painful. I am nearly in tears every day because of it. I was given a trial of Celebrex and of all the luck, it caused me to have pvc's. I was promptly taken off of it and offered darvocet, which I didn't accept at the time because the Celebrex was working, but causing pvc's at the same time. Since then, the pain has come back severely. Sometimes I wear the back brace I was given to help my collar bone heal and it helps. I also bought an arm sling which I wear whenever I know I will be on my feel awhile...because even just standing around it begins to hurt me to the point of tears. It is awful. I am going to go back to the specialist...but would like more information to arm myself with. Is there anything I should request from him? How long do I have to live with this pain?
