Hi Dr. Stolls,
I have tinea versicolor and it is everywhere i have read your responses to other peoples inquiries on this topic and each time to say selsum blue should clear up the discoloration i just wanted to know is this selsum blue the medicated shampoo? can i purchase it at a local store?
pls let me know as i am desperate to get this fungus off me and i cannot aford to go to a derm.

Try Lotrimin solution if you don't get the results you're looking for from the Selsun Blue. It worked for me until I could get my yeast overproduction under control nutritionally. The topical treatments will treat the symptoms, but you've got to do something nutritionally about the yeast in your gut over-populating for the TV to stay gone.

Yes, the Selsun Blue is available OTC and is the shampoo. IF it causes any irritation you must stop it and graduate to the Lotrimin, etc.
Remember, the discoloration will not disappear until the next tanning season AFTER the fungus has been vanquished.
